The Starbucks French roast is the coffee I base all other good coffees on. And here it is in k cup form tasting delicious. Smokey, chocolate, a hint of sweetness. Other coffees can get drowned out with too much water in the keurig but I find French roast holds up great with the 10 ounce selection.
Keurig has a high-techish feel but just going by my palate - it works well. I do prefer the six to ten ounce setting, but as you say, even at ten the Starbucks F.R. is not drowned. That is the danger with Keurig - at higher ounce settings one is getting more water not more coffee.
